When straight-arrow agent Roy Clayton (Guy Pearce) assumes command of a task force of FBI, becomes entangled in a web of covert operations. All clues in the investigation of Clayton point Samir Horn (Don Cheadle), a former special operations soldier currently aids terrorists. But as Clayton digs deeper and contradictory evidence begins to emerge, begins to question the Horn grounds.

An undercover CIA agent in a terrorist cell is marked as a terrorist suspect by the FBI in Overture Films upcoming thriller Traitor. Don Cheadle produces and stars in the film as the operational Guy Pearce under investigation.

Based on an idea of Steve Martin, the film is written and directed by Day After Tomorrow screenwriter Jeffrey Nachmanoff.
